Director of Operations – North America

Zamberlan NA is looking to hire an experienced operations professional with expertise in consumer goods into our Iconic, fast-growing, nearly 100-year-old brand. Our new Director of Operations will be accountable for S&OP planning, supply chain, accounting, IT and financial reporting.

We are looking for a talented, passionate, and tenacious individual with a track record of operational success in a fast paced direct-to-consumer and wholesale sales environment. This person should be able to formulate and execute on operational efficiency plans across all departments and demonstrate competency in systems and processes, distribution operations, accounting and finance and general administration.

RESPONSIBILITIES (include, but are not limited to):

  • Direct, oversee and conduct (where appropriate) daily operations of Zamberlan NA including Finance/Accounting, IT, E-commerce operations, supply chain, and sales operations (S&OP)
  • Create monthly financial reports (Income statement, balance sheet, cash flow and various other performance metrics).
  • Own and drive the S&OP process while closely working with the GM, sales, reps, and key accounts. 
  • Place purchase orders and ensure efficient and cost effective transport from factory to Zamberlan NA 3PL.


  • Roughly ten years of experience in footwear, outdoor, or sporting goods industries with 5 plus years of general operations experience in a leadership role being preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, with emphasis in Operations, Marketing, or Finance; master’s degree is strongly preferred.
  • Strong Operations Management experience with knowledge in a multitude of business functions including ecommerce, distribution operations, finance, and accounting. 
  • This is a remote position working with a NA team as well as the parent company in Italy.
