Ideal for all-purpose mountaineering, ice climbing, and other high-altitude activities where warmth, comfort, support, and precision are required. Features include: ▪ New Evo carbon fiber midsole technology reduces the weight roughly 7% relative to other similar Zamberlan models ▪ ZTECH Technical alpine last creates an excellent anatomical fit and superior foot wrap ▪ Single-piece Perwanger leather uppers are chosen specifically for their superior resistance and durability over time.     Made for increased "hikability" the Mountain Trek was made to more easily transition from climbing to hiking with a hike-friendly midsole. Technical DNA endures allowing for climbing technical routes with or without gear. Designed for high-level mountaineering and glacial routes as well as high-altitude big game hunting. ------------------------------ Features include: ▪ The Mountain Trek is built on the Zamberlan Vibram Mulaz Evo platform, with integrated Zamberlan semi-PCS (professional crampon system) capability for those times when a crampon is needed, but not overly robust for when they are not required ▪ The Zamberlan Fiberglass 5mm insole grants precise performance and support for edging, toe-in and other technical maneuvers, but is more forgiving for hiking ▪ A triple-density PU wedge midsole adds both support and cushioning where needed ▪ The single-piece uppers are comprised of 2.8mm Hydrobloc Perwanger leathers for extreme durability and water resistance over time ▪ Cordura components are used over the ankles and collar for lightweight protection ▪ Gore-Tex Performance Comfort membranes provide guaranteed waterproof protection and breathability for maximum range and versatility while hiking ▪ The Mountain Trek is lasted for a precise fit using Zamberlan's ZTECH last, which is more anatomical than other lasts used by Zamberlan, allowing for the most sensitivity and precision ▪ Roller lace hardware is corrosion resistant and allows for easier lacing and less wear on laces, while the lace locking system is a brilliant and simple solution to creating customized lace-fitting between the top and bottom zones ▪ The Zamberlan RRS (rubber rand system) provides extreme foot protection and prolongs the life of the boot ▪ Resolable ▪ Made in Italy
