Wow. In today's world, these hand-made, old school welted boots remind me of human craft. Beautiful, functional, loooong-lasting. I'm proud to wear 'em for the rest of my days.

I was a little concerned that there would be an extended break-in period with these boots. I have only used them on a number of 5km walks but they have been comfortable right out of the box. Beautiful boots, and wonderful workmanship. Very happy with my purchase.

Timber Cruising in northern British Columbia, The Tofane GTX are a excellent boot for the serious hiker. I put an average of 5km a day on these boots, the comfort is second to none.
Great traction climbing over blowdown and dry feet is priceless.

The boots are absolutely gorgeous. True to size and quite comfortable for a heavy boot. However, the stitching on one of the boots was broken and frayed in a few spots. Not sure if the thread was defective or just sub par stitching in a section of the boot. Knowing a little bit about sewing, broken threading will eventually start to unravel. Pictures were sent to customer service with no response. Due to the fact that I waited 2 1/2 weeks without a response, I’m sadly returning these boots. Just don’t want to take the chance of the stitching starting to unravel 6 months down the road and then getting no response from customer service?

Incredibly comfortable right out of the box, and fit is true to size. The boots are so nice, that I don't want to wear them outside, and get them dirty!

Best hiking boot I have ever had. So stable and secure. Being 77 years old now the stability and security of this footwear is undeniable.

The fit of these Tofane is perfect, true to size I’d say, slightly roomier toe box than my 996 Vioz. Same size as my Asics. And boy are they beautiful. Yet to be worn, but I expect they will perform excellently as with my old Zamberlans. Awesome boots!!

I followed the precise guidelines to determine the boot size, but unfortunately, they are very narrow. However, the length is correct.
Additionally, and this is the worst part by far, there seems to be a design flaw that creates a bump behind the Achilles tendons. Although I have been wearing the boots almost every day for 8 months, this issue persists without improvement. I now have a bump behind the Achilles heel on each foot. Moreover, the boots are still very stiff. I expected them to soften over time, but that has not been the case. Conclusion is, i would rate those way higher if it wasnt for the bump they create...
J'ai suivi les directives précises pour déterminer la taille des bottes, mais malheureusement, elles sont très étroites. En revanche, la longueur est correcte. De plus, il semble y avoir un défaut de conception qui crée une bosse derrière les tendons d'Achille. Bien que je porte les bottes presque tous les jours depuis 8 mois, ce problème persiste sans s'améliorer. J'ai désormais une bosse derrière le talon d'Achille sur chaque pied. Par ailleurs, les bottes restent encore très rigides. Je pensais qu'elles s'assoupliraient avec le temps, mais cela n'a pas été le cas. En conclusion, je noterais bcp plus élevé si ce n'était de la bosse qu'elles m'on fait derrière les tendons.

These boots are some of the most beautiful I've ever seen. Construction, material and presentation. I would caution anyone with anything other than "linebacker legs" that these are probably not for you. I have narrow feet and these things were humorously big on my foot, like swimming big. If you have a wider foot and large ankle/calves these would be a top of the line product for you.

I've been looking for a good Norwegian Welt leather boot, and this one fits the bill. I haven't worn it enough to give a thorough review, but so far so good.

High quality product that meets or exceeds ecxpectations.

I have a pair of 10 year old Tofane boots that fit great when I first put them on. After 10 years of use, it was becoming difficult to maintain them, so I bought a new pair. They also fit great right away and I have been wearing them pretty much daily since I received them.

I am very pleased with the quality and fit of Zamberlan products. Just what I needed, easy to order and delivery expediently. I look forward to putting these excellent boots through a series of test on my upcoming extended trekking adventures.

Fab. Was on flaw in stitching but they are fixing. Boots seem bullet proof to me. Styling is tops. Very comfortable. I ordered wide and really like it better.

Hands down the Tofane NW GTX RR's are the best and most comfortable boots I've ever purchased. There is literally no break in period. I wore them the day I received them on a 8 hour sporting clays shoot (walking the course) with no blisters. They are a perfect fit and look amazing. I am between an 8 1/2 and 9 size in a dress shoe (Johnston and Murphy). I purchased a size 9 and the fit is just perfect with wearing tube socks. I would recommend these boots to anyone that wants a top quality boot! Bravo Zamberlan !

My experience with these boots comes from the previous pair that this new pair replaces. They are the most comfortable hiking boots my feet have met, though not light. They were even worn to work and local walks pretty much daily. The insoles were wonderful and lasted longer than most. Unfortunately there wasn’t an opportunity to replace them; no replacements available in Canada and those from abroad were very pricey. They kept my feet dry even in downpours.

I am highly pleased with my product choice of 1025 Tofane NW GTX RR. The quality of craftsmanship of the Norwegian Welt construction and the visible sealant applied to the sole’s multiple thick stitches, leather quality exemplified the attention to detail that went into it’s fabrication far exceeded any boot I previously owned. Although robustly designed and crafted, the boot flexes at locations coinciding with the foot resulting in enhanced contact and grip with uneven ground.

This boots are a Masterpiece. Now I am waiting for the Sella’s in my size to buy them. Boots

This is the second set of these boots that I have purchased. The first made a lasting positive impression and provided years of wear.

Great fit and wonderful craftsmanship. I have worn these all Winter in snow and ice. Very pleased.
